November 18 20162016-11-18November 18 20162016-11-18A photograph of a bearded man seated on a green plastic chair at an outdoor village setting, draped in a thick garland of white, yellow and red flowers and wearing a rudraksha mala and a large gold pendant. He wears a rust-brown robe and has a sacred vibhuti marking on his forehead, and he is smiling. A bald man in a white sleeveless top kneels beside him, while standing men in white shirts, jeans and checked shirts surround the seat; some men behind wear saffron-orange cloth and have white tilaka markings. Yellow petals scatter around the seated figure.2016-11-18Outdoor photo in a dusty village lane beside a whitewashed house with a corrugated roof and palm trees. A bare-chested man with long swept-back dark hair, a red-brown cloth, a wide flower garland of red and white blossoms, gold necklaces, rudraksha beads and gold armbands sits on a green plastic chair, holding a bowl of sliced banana. Around him, men in orange-and-saffron cloths with rudraksha malas and men in white dhotis with gold borders stand close; one man in orange holds a tall red staff. A man in a green striped shirt and grey trousers holds out banana pieces, and onlookers in casual shirts watch and check their phones. Appearance cues include long swept-back hair, a garland, gold ornaments and rudraksha; a probable match to a person, though the identification is uncertain.2016-11-18November 18 20162016-11-18July 18 20162016-07-18June 23 20142014-06-23 +2 copiesOutdoor procession on a paved path under green trees. Other attendants wear orange and saffron robes with gold borders; a woman in a white sari and gold jewellery stands at left, and a man in white on the right has hands folded.
