A long-haired man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala sits on a white-draped seat on a striped mat, scattered with yellow flowers and a leopard-print cloth. Beside him an older man in white kurta, dark beaded mala and a small Indian flag pin sits on a white plastic chair. Behind them stand three men in white with orange shawls; the centre one holds a large orange umbrella over the seated figures. Colourful pennant strings hang overhead, and white plastic chairs and a few people in white are in the background.2007-08-15September 28-29 2006 - Kodikkan Ratha YatraJuly 07 20092009-07-07Outdoor puja at a white-plinthed shrine on a sandy clearing beneath tall coconut palms and a cloudy sky. A black Shiva lingam stands on the shrine, draped with a red-and-white garland and set in a black yoni-pitha base with yellow flowers. A tall reddish pillar rises behind it. Around the shrine, about a dozen devotees stand with palms pressed together: women in green, red-and-white and floral saris, and men and youths in white dhotis and shirts. A monk-like figure in an orange robe stands near the left, and a bald man in white stands at the right beside brass vessels on a table and an empty white plastic chair in the foreground.2007-09-24October 01 20062006-10-01January 01 20082008-01-01October 01 20062006-10-01
