A figure seated on an ornate golden throne with a red cushion and tiger-striped seat cover is a central focus; he wears saffron-orange clothing, a rudraksha-style mala and a garland. Before him, several people sit cross-legged at low silver-finished trays holding food on plates and steel tumblers; many wear white dhotis and saffron or yellow garments. Standing attendants in white dhotis and white head cloths move around the room. Golden lamp stands and a golden kalasha-style pillar are visible.2016-05-24 +1 copiesSeptember 21 20162016-09-21September 21 20162016-09-21Photograph of an indoor puja in a hall with a blue, green and white draped backdrop. A small raised dais holds a seated figure in orange clothing beneath an ornate golden canopy, with brass kalasha-style vessels and a lamp set on either side. Rows of seated devotees face the dais: monks in saffron and orange robes with shaved heads on the left, and women in orange and white saris on the right. In the foreground, people in white clothes and red-bordered shawls hold brass oil lamps and sit before plantain-leaf plates of food laid on low wooden platforms. The scene shows a ritual offering with devotees seated in rows.2014-07-26 +1 copiesA seated ritual gathering in an indoor hall with pink-lit walls and red curtains. On a raised leopard-skin-covered throne at right, a man with bare upper body, ornate gold necklaces, and a crown-like headdress sits beside a decorated deity murti garlanded with white flowers. Around him, about twenty devotees sit on mats in a semicircle: several men in saffron/orange wraps and turbans, a bare-chested man with rudraksha mala, and women in orange and gold saris. Brass plates with offerings and small oil lamps sit on the floor in front. A cameraman stands behind a tripod at the back.2017-09-30Seated ritual gathering in a hall during a puja, with rows of devotees on red mats facing a central raised seat draped in a green and blue fan backdrop. Saffron-robed priests sit at the left with bare shaved heads and ash marks, while white-clad devotees and women in orange shawls sit in rows. Brass vessels and a kalasha stand near the central seat, and low wooden tables hold banana-leaf plates with food offerings and small cups. A standing attendant in white moves at the far right. The scene shows a satsang-style puja setting rather than a identifiable individual, and the central seated figure is too small to identify with confidence.2014-07-26 +3 copiesJuly 21 20152015-07-21A seated congregation on red mats under a tent with gold-and-red draped decor. Around him, devotees sit cross-legged holding brass plates of flowers, fruit and oil lamps, many women in orange, purple and blue saris, and men in white dhotis and kurtas. A woman in orange near the foreground holds a plate, and an older bald man in white and saffron sits at lower right. Roughly a few dozen people are visible.2017-12-15A photograph from above of a red-carpeted ritual hall where many people sit on the floor in rows around plates of offerings. A seated figure on an ornate gold throne with a golden lion base wears an orange-red robe, gold necklaces and bangles and has long hair swept back; the appearance is consistent with a person candidate, seated as the central presider while others offer puja. Participants wear white, red, pink and blue saris and kurtas, many with red shawls; a gold kalasha-like pillar and a red canopy frame the scene, and a carved golden wall panel stands at right.2016-05-21
