Small glass-enclosed offering dishes, incense sticks, red bowls and yellow chrysanthemums surround the base. Behind it stand white and gold temple halls with red-tiled roofs, a clock tower and a naga-decorated balustrade under green trees. No people are visible.2005-07-14July 14 20052005-07-14A gilded statue of a seated deity in a silver arched niche set against a green cloth backdrop, outdoors among trees and dry earth. Inside, two painted statues sit on a raised platform: a figure with a tall black crown-like headdress and white dhoti, and a figure in pink and green garments with a crown. Between them stands a golden lamp stand, a brass kalasha and a yellow-draped altar with a garland. A dark purple cloth hangs down the right pillar. Trees and a white compound wall surround the shrine, and a steel bin sits at the lower left. This is a deity murti shrine with no people visible.2007-05-04Outdoor temple shrine under leafy trees and a grey sky, with a central golden arched niche holding a black deity murti wearing an orange turban, a silver-and-garland adornment and a long trident-like staff, beside a smaller figure in a red-and-orange garment. Flanking arched niches hold seated and standing black murtis, and a small white-and-red figurine sits before offerings of fruit, flowers and a brass plate. The base is striped red and white with a black inscribed plaque.2012-09-27Photograph of a decorated processional shrine, a white stone structure with carved pillars and a sculpted cornice, set on a red-painted stage in daylight under a blue sky. Two seated metal deity images are the focus: a figure with a golden face wearing a white garment and layered necklaces on the left, and a figure in a red garment with a crown and flower garlands on the right. Marigold and jasmine garlands drape the shrine and the images. In front stand a small brass kalasha-style vessel, a brass plate, a small silver-framed figure and scattered flower petals. Black speakers flank the stage. No physical people are clearly visible, apart from a partially visible figure at the right edge.January 10 20172017-01-10
