A seated man on an ornate golden throne with lion-armrest carvings, wearing a maroon-red shawl and a rudraksha mala, smiles while a kneeling man in white dhoti and shawl performs padapuja, washing his feet over a brass plate of red flower petals. A woman in a white sari with a red border and red shawl sits to the right holding a small offering, and a silver trident stands at left against a gilded and blue-patterned backdrop. Scattered offering plates and a partially visible person at bottom right complete the scene. The throned man is a person on the page, with long swept-back hair and rudraksha beads, so the identity is an appearance-based candidate, in person.
