November 16 20152015-11-16November 05 20132013-11-05A procession at a temple-like setting. A central figure with long matted locks, a gold crown-like ornament on the head, red-and-gold beaded garland, heavy gold necklace and rudraksha mala, wearing a rust-brown robe, walks holding a silver staff. Attendants in white dhotis with gold borders and rudraksha malas flank him, one in orange garments carries a brass kalasha-type vessel, and a red-and-gold ceremonial umbrella and a bell stand behind. Several onlookers are visible at the right and bottom. Swamiji (probable): the central figure has long hair swept upward, a crown, ornate gold necklaces and rudraksha mala cues, and the page indicates Swamiji is present.2016-07-19A procession of devotees walks outdoors past a thatched hut and palm trees. In the centre a man in a saffron-red robe with a long orange-gold shawl and a heavy beaded mala stands behind a tall silver trident. Beside him a bald man in red holds a silver trident aloft. On the left a woman in orange-red sari and beaded necklace walks under a red and yellow canopy, and a young man in orange holds a long pole. Several women in white and grey clothes hold silver staffs or stand nearby, and a woman in a white dress holds another silver staff at right. Ornate golden objects blur in the foreground.2013-12-02A procession of saffron-robed sannyasis walks barefoot along a red carpet under a covered pavilion with palm trees beyond. A bearded elder in orange robes and a large white and red flower garland stands centre, holding a long wooden staff. Men on either side wear rudraksha malas and carry tall staffs topped with a trident and ornate finials. Two ceremonial yellow-and-red umbrellas with a decorative emblem hang above the procession. Several people behind wear orange and brown robes. The bearded central figure is a sannyasi in a procession; appearance alone does not establish identity.2013-11-05July 25 20132013-07-25November 16 20152015-11-16A procession outdoors on a paved path under leafy trees. Beside him, a man with a shaved head wears a red-and-gold dhoti and rudraksha mala and holds a tall golden trident-style staff. A woman in an orange sari with a dark rudraksha mala holds a white vessel with a green plant. An ornate golden-brown parasol and a gold-fringed umbrella are raised above the group, and behind them white-clad devotees follow. A central figure with long dark hair, wearing a red-brown dhoti and shawl, a red and white flower garland, a large gold necklace and gold armbands, walks forward at the center. Around him, men in white dhotis with gold borders and rudraksha malas carry a silver trident-like staff and walk barefoot. Behind them, a colourful striped ceremonial umbrella and a green-and-gold umbrella are held aloft, and attendants in orange and saffron cloth carry a fan with a green and orange border. Women in orange and yellow saris and gold ornaments walk in the procession. A red wall stands at left. The scene resembles a ritual procession, with visible ceremonial umbrellas, staves and fans.2016-07-19November 05 20132013-11-05July 31 20152015-07-31November 16 20152015-11-16
