A man in an orange-red turban and saffron-red robe, with a heavy gold-and-white garland, rudraksha mala and bangles, sits raised in an open white vehicle with a hand raised in greeting. Behind him a bearded man in white dhoti and shawl holds a mala and a white parasol with tassels is raised over the procession. Attendants in white and yellow garments and beaded necklaces stand around, one holding a trident-topped staff and another a gold-topped staff. Several bystanders watch from the left. The appearance of the turbaned figure matches several cues associated with a person, shown here as a procession participant in an open vehicle.2016-12-23December 23 20162016-12-23
