September 15 20152015-09-15A dense crowd photograph of a procession at an outdoor festival. At centre, a bare-chested man wears a large rust-orange turban decorated with pink flower petals, a thick gold ceremonial necklace, bangles, and a long rudraksha-style mala, with a flower garland of yellow and orange marigolds draped over his shoulders. Around him, saffron-robed sadhus in maroon and orange wraps wear white and beaded garlands, and a bald man in glasses stands nearby. Devotees press in from all sides, some in white shirts with yellow marigold garlands, and a brass kalasha vessel is raised above the crowd. The central figure has distinctive turban and gold adornments but his appearance is not conclusive enough to confirm identity.2015-09-15September 15 20152015-09-15 +1 copiesSeptember 15 20152015-09-15July 19 20162016-07-19Night procession in a crowded street with many devotees pressing close.
