September 20 20152015-09-20September 20 20152015-09-20September 20 20152015-09-20A photograph of a smiling man seated cross-legged on an ornate gold throne with plush maroon velvet cushions, on a striped tiger-skin cloth. He wears a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, a long gold-beaded necklace, and gold hoop earrings, with a white vibhuti line and red kumkum dot on his forehead. His arms are extended in a gesture as if speaking to an audience. Behind him stands a large painted deity murti with multiple arms holding a mace and other weapons, in orange and green tones.2013-04-13September 14 20152015-09-14A man sits on an ornate gilded throne with a large carved golden backrest and red velvet cushions, smiling and gesturing with one raised hand during a talk. He wears a rust-red and saffron-bordered robe, a red bindi and tripundra marks on his forehead, and a long necklace of gold-tone beads with a clip-on microphone at the collar. A water bottle rests on the armrest. The plain cream wall and wooden panelling suggest an indoor discourse hall. Swamiji (probable): the long swept-back hair, saffron-toned robe and gold bead necklace are cues for a presiding teacher seated on the throne, though appearance alone is not conclusive.2014-01-25 +1 copiesJuly 19 20132013-07-19July 06 20142014-07-06September 02 20132013-09-02A man seated on an ornate gold-and-red throne with a carved gilded arched backrest, smiling broadly with hands clasped in his lap. He is bare-chested over the shoulders, wearing a saffron-orange cloth draped over his torso with gold borders, a red bindi, and a long strand of gold-toned beaded necklace (rudraksha-style mala). A small lapel microphone is clipped to his garment. Red velvet cushions and a bolster surround him, and a small purple bird logo appears in the upper-left corner.2014-01-25 +1 copiesA seated man in saffron-red robes with orange trim sits on an ornate gold repoussé throne with a large gold back panel. He raises his right hand in a blessing or teaching gesture while smiling. He wears a long rudraksha-style bead mala and a large gold pendant necklace, a red tilak on his forehead and red-and-gold bangles on his wrist. Red cushions rest on the throne and a bouquet of red roses, orange flowers and yellow blooms sits at the lower left. The background shows gilded decorative elements and temple-style surroundings. Presentation cues match Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair, saffron robes and ceremonial gold necklace, seated on a throne during a discourse setting.2015-09-14A smiling figure in a rust-red turban and matching saffron-orange robes sits on an ornate gold throne with carved lion-like arms and a dark maroon cushion. The seated figure wears a brown rudraksha mala, a heavy gold necklace with bead pendants, and gold armbands. A tall silver staff stands beside the throne. To the right, a deity murti in a blue-and-purple skirt and a flower garland sits in a gilded shrine arch, with a temple gopuram painted with figures in the background. The setting appears to be a satsang stage. Appearance cues include the turban, rudraksha mala and ceremonial gold necklace, consistent with Swamiji (probable), seated on the throne.2015-05-23 +1 copies
