September 04 20142014-09-04September 20 20152015-09-20September 20 20152015-09-20A woman in a red-and-gold saree with a golden border sits in the foreground, her back to the camera, pressing her right hand onto the forehead of a smiling man in a white kurta with a red-and-saffron shawl and a conference lanyard. He raises his left palm in a receiving gesture. Behind them, seated and standing devotees wear red-orange shawls and white clothes on a white-covered floor, a screen above shows a red-and-white image, and a small wooden box with paper and money sits nearby. The scene appears to be a blessing given at a gathering. No one visible can be confidently identified as a person from appearance, so the central figures are described by role only.2015-07-10A seated man with long dark hair tied back, wearing an orange-red cloth wrap over bare shoulders, a red beaded necklace and rudraksha-style beads, touches the forehead of a standing man in a white kurta with a red-orange shawl. The standing man holds one palm raised in greeting. Behind them, a silver trident-topped staff, a peacock-feather fan and a gold ceremonial vessel stand on a red carpet. Several women in white and red-orange shawls and saris stand in the background, one with a white forehead mark.2014-09-04May 09 20152015-05-09A photograph of a seated figure with long dark hair in a bun, wearing a saffron-and-gold wrap and a long gold-beaded necklace, extending a hand to touch the forehead of a standing-kneeling man with short grey hair, folded hands and an orange shawl over white clothes. Behind them a woman in a red sari with a bindi and another person in white hold ritual items, and a woman in orange and white stands in the background near a red cloth backdrop. The figure with the bun and gold necklace is a person by appearance cues (long swept hair, ornate gold necklace, saffron wrap), and is shown in the act of blessing the man. Total people visible: four.2015-07-19July 10 20152015-07-10Indoors at night, a bare-chested man in a saffron-red cloth and a long gold-beaded necklace reaches to touch the forehead of a man in a white shirt with a red shawl. Behind them stands an ornate gold-carved wooden structure with a yellow fringed canopy above. A woman in white with a rudraksha mala kneels nearby with hands folded, and several devotees in white and red shawls sit or stand in the background.2013-12-20September 20 20152015-09-20September 20 20152015-09-20A seated figure with long dark hair, a red bindi and an orange-red shawl over saffron-brown robes reaches to place a hand on the crown of a bald man in a white shirt, who has an orange-red shawl draped over his shoulders. The seated figure smiles. Behind them, a gold ornate backdrop and deep red velvet drapes frame the scene. On the right, a man in white clothing with a rudraksha mala and a red-and-gold shawl stands with hands clasped. A partly visible person appears at the lower left edge. Swamiji (probable) is the seated figure, identified from long swept-back hair, saffron-orange ornate clothing and a ceremonial setting; this is an appearance-based label only.2013-05-19
