A photograph of a crowded devotional gathering indoors, with many women in white and cream traditional dress with red-and-cream shawls draped over their shoulders. Many have red-brown sashes and beaded necklaces. They stand close together in a dense group, some with hands pressed together in namaskar, others gesturing or moving amid the crowd. Behind them a decorated altar or shrine with a deity murti, floral garlands and a colourful draped backdrop is visible, with a large gilded arch above. Sound equipment and a camera on a tripod are at the edges.

A group of women stand in rows in a wood-panelled hall with yellow padded wall panels, performing a devotional ritual with palms pressed together in anjali mudra. Several wear red-and-orange shawls with woven patterns over white or cream sarees and white tops; one in the foreground wears a white top with a red-and-orange shawl and a lanyard, and another holds a small lamp-like object. Trays and small offerings sit on the carpet at their feet, and water bottles are placed nearby. Other participants in white are visible behind, and a woman in the lower centre sits with hands clasped. No a person candidate is visible in this scene.

A woman at the left has hands raised above her head in namaskar, and a devotee at the right holds a lit oil lamp. No prominent figure in saffron is visible.
