A central figure in a flowing orange robe with long, dark, curly hair and a rudraksha mala points upward with one finger while speaking. Beside him an older man in a pale peach robe with a shaved head holds a light blue cloth bag. To the left, a man in white dhoti and shirt with an orange shawl stands with hands folded, and a man in a yellow garment stands near the right. Several others in orange and saffron robes and headwraps, some wearing beaded necklaces, stand around. An open doorway and a window are visible on the back wall, with a bright overhead light fixture and a small logo at upper left.2007-08-09August 06 20092009-08-06Indoor photo in a white-walled room with green floor matting and a red curtain in the background. A white-bearded elder in orange robes and a rudraksha mala stands at left, leaning on a walker. Facing him is a man in a rust-brown robe with a long rudraksha mala and an orange turban, who appears to be a person by appearance cues including the turban and long mala, though identity is uncertain. Beside them a woman in a red kurta and white shawl stands with a red handbag. To the right, a bald man in brown robes with a gold-toned necklace and a man in a pink shirt with a blue lanyard stand near a man in a yellow kurta. Several other people stand at the edges of the frame.2016-05-06A photograph of a temple entrance with pale yellow walls and white-painted doorway. A figure in a saffron-orange robe, long swept-back hair, and palms pressed together in greeting stands at centre, with a second saffron-robed figure and a robed attendant beside him. Swamiji (probable) — long swept-back hair and saffron robe worn by the central figure, who is greeting a bare-chested priest in white dhoti with sacred thread. To the left, several men in white shirts and white dhotis stand near a uniformed police officer in a grey-blue uniform and cap. A woman in white stands in the background near the doorway, which is draped with a navy cloth.2009-08-08July 28 20082008-07-28August 09 20072007-08-09August 08 20092009-08-08February 19 20072007-02-19A dense crowd of saffron-robed sadhus and devotees moves through a concrete passageway at the Kumbh Mela. In the centre, a man wears a maroon-red turban, a rust-red robe with a yellow-gold sash, and layered gold beaded necklaces; he is smiling and gesturing with his right hand. Beside him on the left, a man with long dark hair wears a rudraksha mala and gold necklaces over a white garment. Around them, many bearded sadhus wear orange and saffron robes, some with orange turbans and rudraksha malas. A small painted portrait of a bearded figure hangs on the wall at left.2015-09-11 +1 copiesSeptember 11 20152015-09-11 +1 copies
