Rows of devotees sit on the floor, many women in orange and red saris with rudraksha malas and yellow-marked foreheads, and older men in white dhotis with red shawls. A young man in a white dhoti and shirt bends forward, serving food from a woven basket onto white paper plates; each plate holds flatbread and sweets.
