A row of seated sadhus in saffron and orange robes sit at a long stage with ornate silver-finished low tables, each holding a brass plate of yellow marigold flowers. Several wear rudraksha malas; the seated man at the front right wears an orange head wrap and a beaded mala and speaks into a microphone on a stand. Behind them stand a gilded shrine with a deity murti adorned with garlands, a kalasha-style gold ornament, prayer flags and red and pink draperies. A bald man in orange with a microphone sits at the right of the row. Stage lights hang from the ceiling.

Evening photograph under a tent with a red, green and orange striped canopy and blue pipe scaffolding. A man with long swept-back hair, a bare-chested orange-and-red ochre wrap and a rudraksha-style necklace smiles while serving food from a large steel vessel on a table. Beside him, a second man in an orange robe leans in, and to the right a young man in white holds out a plate to receive food.

A crowded indoor hall with a red curtain backdrop and colourful patterned pillars. A long-haired figure in orange robes and an orange shawl sits on a white throne-like chair with white cushions, receiving a devotee. A young man in white with an orange shawl and rudraksha mala stands behind him holding a plate. Devotees in white and orange shawls gather around, including a woman in a multicoloured sari. On a white cloth in front are rudraksha malas, small booklets, framed pictures and sweets. The figure in orange has long hair and wears orange clothing with rudraksha beads, though the appearance is not clear enough to confirm identity, so the seated figure is described by role only.

A crowded outdoor tent at a Kumbha Mela camp, with a striped red-and-yellow canopy and green poles overhead. Many saffron-robed sadhus and sannyasis sit on the yellow floor cloth before low white tables set with steel plates, bowls, cups and water bottles, during a communal meal. A bald man in white ritual clothes bends over a table at right, serving or arranging food. An elderly bearded sadhu in orange with tilak markings sits in the foreground, and several standing men wear orange and ochre robes. A woman in a dark top stands at far right holding a phone. Thatched walls surround the tent.

A photograph of a ceremonial reception on a stage. A seated figure in an orange-saffron robe with long dark hair sits on an ornate gold throne with carved gold lion-form armrests and a cushioned seat. Before him, a man in white dhoti and shirt bends forward receiving a long white and red flower garland that the seated figure is placing over him. A woman in a red and orange sari stands with palms joined beside him, and an older man in a white dhoti and shirt with folded hands stands at left. Behind them, several women in white and colourful saris stand near red and maroon curtains. In front, brass trays hold rows of sweets and offerings on a patterned rug, with a golden plate of fruit at the right edge of the throne. Probable Swamiji seated on the throne: long swept-back hair, saffron robe and gold throne cues.

Outdoor gathering under a yellow and red patterned canopy with a crowd of saffron-robed sadhus and devotees. In the front row, several seated sadhus in orange and saffron robes wear marigold garlands; one on the far right has a tall orange turban and a long white beard. Behind them, standing devotees wear white kurtas, orange and red garments, and one man in a blue checked shirt stands near the center. Some hold their hands together in greeting, and a few wear rudraksha malas. Carpets cover the ground beneath the seated row. Roughly thirty to forty people are visible.

Photograph of a crowded hall with white walls and a corrugated metal roof under ceiling fans. On a raised stage, two men in saffron/orange robes stand before a zebra-striped seat, one holding a long staff. Several white-clad men and women in white dhotis and sarees stand in a line along the stage, and one man in white stands at a small table with items. A cameraman in white films the stage. Seated devotees in white and pastel clothing fill the floor in front.
