Probable Swamiji (long swept-back hair, turban, saffron-orange robes and rudraksha mala). A man in a navy shirt and khaki trousers bows deeply and touches the seated figure's feet, while holding an orange shawl. A tiger-striped cloth covers the throne base, and a red cushion sits behind him. Before him, a bare-chested, shaved-headed man in a white dhoti with a red border bows low and reaches toward him in ritual homage. To the left, a young man in saffron-orange robes and a gold chain necklace stands watching, with red bangles on his wrist. The setting is a golden-throne ceremony, consistent with a padapuja or honouring ritual.2016-05-24A seated figure in an orange-brown robe and matching turban with a silver circular brooch sits on a red cushioned throne with a gold-carved backrest. He wears long beaded brown rudraksha-style malas and a gold pendant, and extends his right hand to bless a kneeling man with palms joined. The kneeling man wears a red shirt, orange sash, red-beaded mala and a tilak, and bows his head. Behind them stands another man in white with a red-beaded mala and tilak, and to the right a man in a red shirt watches. Ornate gold carved panels and an oil lamp frame the scene. A seated figure with long swept-back hair, saffron-toned robes and rudraksha malas, presented as a person, is giving blessing on a throne. The scene appears to be a blessing or darshan setting.2016-05-01October 10 20152015-10-10September 14 20152015-09-14
