A photograph inside a temple hall during a puja. A smiling bearded man in a black turban and rust-brown robe, wearing a long pink-and-white flower garland and heavy gold chains, holds a lit oil lamp toward a dark stone Nandi bull draped in a yellow cloth and white garland. Standing beside him, a bare-chested attendant with white sacred markings on the arms offers the lamp. Behind them, saffron-robed young men play long brass horns and trumpets, and colourful painted pillars and white panelled doors line the hall. The man's appearance is consistent with the identity given on the page but not sufficiently distinctive to confirm it, so he is described by role as a priest and attendant at the lamp offering.2018-05-31 +1 copiesA photograph of a temple abhishekam scene.
