A central figure in an orange-saffron robe and matching orange turban, with long dark hair and a ceremonial gold-beaded necklace, walks among devotees; the figure is a probable Swamiji candidate by these cues. Two large lilac-and-red fringed ceremonial umbrellas with embroidered gold motifs are carried overhead. Men and women in white dhotis and white saris walk alongside, some holding orange and white flags bearing a blue bird emblem. A man in white in the foreground raises a flag pole, and a young boy at the right edge watches. Several people in orange and maroon robes gather at the bus steps, including a figure in saffron robes boarding and a few others in red-brown clothing with a child-sized figure in front.
