In the foreground a man with long dark hair walks barefoot, wearing an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, a large floral garland in red and white, and a beaded necklace with rudraksha-style strands; he appears to be the central figure, carried under a decorated umbrella-style parasol held by a man in orange robes. Behind him, several men in orange cloth carry a tray or plate and a bundle of offerings, and a line of others in orange and white follows along the path. A red building and green trees form the background.2013-03-10Outdoor procession on a wet paved path beneath a large banyan tree with aerial roots. A man in a maroon-brown robe with a long fresh flower garland of red, yellow and white blooms and a gold pendant walks barefoot on a striped runner, while attendants in orange robes and a bare-chested priest in white dhoti with gold border follow. A figure in orange holds a decorated umbrella on a long pole. In the foreground a brass lamp with a lit flame, a plantain leaf with offerings, and a smoking fire pit sit on a red-rimmed platform at the base of the tree.2017-09-02January 01 20172017-01-01
