June 07 20162016-06-07A procession walks along a stone-paved path lined with a red brick wall and green shrubs. At centre, a man with a tall dark crown of hair wears a rust-brown robe, a long multi-coloured garland of orange and white flowers, layered gold necklaces and gold bangles, and walks with his eyes lowered. Beside him a young man in an orange robe and white vibhuti forehead marks carries a silver staff, with a rudraksha mala across his chest. Behind them, attendants in orange and white garments carry ornate umbrellas and peacock-feather fans. On the left an older man with white hair in a white dhoti and orange shawl carries a long wooden pole with a rudraksha mala and red-orange shawl.2016-06-07June 07 20162016-06-07June 07 20162016-06-07December 23 20162016-12-23A photograph of a ceremonial procession on a paved path beside a red wall and green trees. A central figure in a maroon-brown robe wears a red and gold turban, a long beaded garland of white and pink flowers, and a heavy gold necklace; his hair is long and dark, and a visible sign on the lower left shows this is a person appearance. Behind him, men in white kurtas with red-brown shawls carry ornate umbrellas in green, red, orange and gold with tassels and embroidery. At left, a shirtless man with long braided hair wears an orange dhoti and holds a red-and-gold umbrella. Several cameramen film the procession, and a small shrine-like canopy with tassels is visible at upper right.2016-10-08March 01 20162016-03-01July 19 20162016-07-19April 21 20152015-04-21A procession on a paved path outdoors, with leafy trees behind. Two large ornate umbrellas with red, orange and multicoloured fringed canopies are held over a central figure. The central man wears a rust-red robe, a heavy gold necklace, a long red-and-white flower garland and orange sandals; he holds his hands raised with palms open. Flanking him, men in white dhotis with gold borders carry tall silver staffs topped with trident-like finials, and one carries a trident. Other men and women in white garments with gold-bordered saris and dhotis, and a man in an orange robe, follow, with several people holding their hands in anjali. A red-brick wall stands at the right edge.2016-07-19August 15 20172017-08-15 +2 copiesA procession on a stone path under a red, green and gold ornate canopy umbrella with bird emblems. A central figure in a rust-brown dhoti-style garment wears a large gold ceremonial necklace, a red flower garland and a tall black hair crown, walking forward. Around him men in white dhotis with gold borders and orange-clad attendants carry tall silver staffs, a trident and decorated fans, with palm trees behind. The central figure's appearance (crown, ornate gold necklace, saffron-toned clothing) gives a probable match for a person in procession, but identity is uncertain from appearance alone. Several people are visible, roughly six to twenty.2016-07-19
