In the centre, a smiling man wears a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, a red-beaded rudraksha necklace, a crown-like headpiece and a sandalwood-toned bead garland, carrying nothing in hand. Beside him, a bare-chested man in orange garments with a white headband and mala beads walks barefoot. Other devotees in orange robes and men in white dhotis follow, one holding a bundle of yellow cloth and another a round blue-and-white decorated object. Several figures appear partly in shadow, and a uniformed arm is visible at the right edge. The procession suggests a temple ritual walk.2012-05-21A photograph of a crowded, bright festival procession inside a tent. In the centre, a smiling man with long dark hair, a tilak on his forehead and saffron-orange robes walks forward, his hands near his waist. Beside him a bald monk in orange robes and a rudraksha mala is visible, and on the right a figure in pink-white draped cloth wears a long orange-red bead garland and a gold kalasha-topped structure appears above the crowd. Behind them, devotees in white and bright clothes watch and gesture with their hands raised, and the backdrop is pale fabric and sunlit canvas.2016-05-09June 04 20162016-06-04July 13 20132013-07-13September 16 20152015-09-16April 23 20132013-04-23 +2 copiesNight procession inside a temple corridor with a crowd walking barefoot. In the centre, a smiling man wears a golden crown and a red-orange dhoti-style wrap with gold borders, with a large gold pendant and a rudraksha mala; he is a candidate for a person based on the crown, saffron clothing and ceremonial gold necklace. Around him, men in orange and saffron robes with beaded necklaces walk alongside, and a man in a white kurta with a rudraksha mala holds a torch. On the right, a man in white dhoti with gold border and a red mala walks beside them. Background devotees in white and orange move through the dim, lamp-lit hall.2012-05-07May 09th 20162016-05-09
