November 09 20072007-11-09A large crowd of devotees, mostly women with long dark hair and white or light-coloured saris, sits facing a stage under a tented pavilion. On the stage, a figure in saffron-orange robes sits on an ornate golden throne-like seat before a red shrine niche holding a large deity murti with garlands, a trident and a kalasha-like setting. A video camera on a tripod films the stage, and a striped red-and-white railing lines the aisle. The scene suggests a morning satsang gathering.2010-10-30July 16 20152015-07-16July 09 20172017-07-09December 02 20162016-12-02 +1 copiesJuly 17 20152015-07-17A large congregation of devotees sits cross-legged on striped woven mats inside a hall, most wearing white clothes with red-orange shawls draped over them. Several figures in saffron or orange robes sit among them near the front. On a raised stage at the back, ornate red and gold shrines and decorated altar arches frame deity murti and ritual objects. Kalasha-style pots, garlands and flower decorations surround the stage, and a small golden shrine stands at the right side near the wall, with more bright decorations and banners above. A row of ceremonial pots and an altar display sit at the right edge. The scene resembles a satsang or discourse with a seated assembly facing the stage.2015-09-17October 15 20172017-10-15September 11 20152015-09-11September 16 20152015-09-16A large hall during an evening ritual with a smoky fire pit at centre where a homa is being performed. Behind it, a decorated dais with a green-curtained shrine holds a deity murti adorned with garlands. Several robed priests stand in white and orange-red dhotis and shawls, one holding an object before the shrine. A seated figure in orange-and-gold clothing sits on a silver-decorated throne at left, with a silver umbrella overhead and silver kalasha-style ornaments around. Rows of seated devotees in white clothes with orange-red shawls, many women with long braids and some men with shaved heads, face the ritual. Ceiling fans and hanging lamps light the space. A figure in a saffron garment and ornate necklace stands at the right edge beside an ornamental arch. The scene reads as a formal fire ritual with a seated presiding figure.2015-07-16A large warmly lit hall with ceiling fans where a crowd sits on floor mats and chairs facing a central fire pit sending up smoke, a homa in progress. Many attendees wear white and orange or saffron shawls. Ornate decorated altars with garlands and a deity murti stand behind the fire, and a camera on a tripod is set up at the left edge. A figure seated in the centre behind the fire wears an orange robe, but his face and features are not distinct enough to confirm who he is, so the identity is unsure. Yellow drapery frames the right side.2015-07-16
