Down the centre, a long red carpet runs toward the far end, flanked by white and multicoloured cloth mats laid on a green floor. Several men in light clothing are kneeling or walking, arranging the mats and sheets, and a few people stand near the far end. No a person candidate is visible; the people are staff preparing the venue.2010-02-03A large hall with a red carpet marked by white lines forming a geometric pattern. Many devotees in white clothes with red-orange shawls sit on the floor or stand around the room. A large ornate brown leather throne-like chair stands empty in the centre-back. A woman in white walks across the marked carpet, and an older woman in white with glasses stands near the chair holding a red bag. Purple-lit panels and a decorated tree with lamps line the back wall. A person in white stands at right, and cables run across the floor.2015-07-16A large hall with a patterned carpet and gold-trimmed red drapes shows many devotees seated on the floor in white ritual clothes with red-and-orange shawls draped over their shoulders, arranged in rows around geometric lines on the carpet. Some sit on white chairs at the front left. At the far end, a small raised altar area holds a lit oil lamp and a decorated shrine, and a speaker stands near the stage. Chandeliers hang from the ceiling, and a screen stands at the right.2016-07-09A large hall with a patterned carpet where many people sit cross-legged in rows on the floor, facing forward. Most wear white ritual clothing with red shawls or sashes draped over one shoulder, and several sit on white chairs at the right edge. Small white papers rest on the floor in front of some seated participants, and a ring of yellow tape or cords outlines the seating area. Ornate arched alcoves on the back wall hold framed circular emblems and a small figure, and a video camera on a tripod stands at the right. Warm, dim lighting and chandeliers complete the satsang setting.2016-07-09June 21 20152015-06-21A wide hall with a long red carpet runway leading to an ornate golden throne (peetha) placed in front of a maroon velvet curtain. Rows of people in white clothing sit at long tables draped in red cloth on both sides, with gold-wrapped items and water bottles on the tables. A few attendants stand near the throne area. The throne is empty of any clearly visible occupant, and the seated figures at the tables are too small and distant to individually describe. Pink-and-red backdrop panels line the walls and ceiling lights illuminate the room.2015-08-09A photograph taken from low at the floor level inside a large open hall with a woven bamboo-and-thatch roof built in triangular geometric patterns. A long red carpet runs across the foreground with green mats at its edges. Several dozen seated devotees face a distant stage, with a small altar or dais at the centre. In the right foreground a woman in saffron-orange top sits on a white plastic chair, and beside her a woman wears a pink saree; further right a woman in beige and patterned clothing sits on another chair. Men in white shirts and light clothing sit cross-legged on mats in the middle rows, and a man in a checked shirt sits on a chair at the left. Track lights hang from the rafters. The hall appears to be a satsang or convention gathering.2010-02-04Wide view inside a large white tent hall with a red carpet covering the floor and a dark blue strip running across it. A raised white-draped dais stands at the far end with a green and gold backdrop, a decorated central seat, and a colourful circular target-like panel on the right. Several people in white clothes walk or stand near the dais and along the left side, where rows of white plastic chairs are set out. Speakers stand at the left and right, and video cameras on tripods face the stage. Ceiling fans hang from the tent roof, which has gold scalloped trim.2006-12-17May 28 20162016-05-28
