April 22 20162016-04-22A photograph of a seated meal ceremony in an orange-draped hall. In the centre, a man in a rust-red turban, gold necklaces and a gold-coloured shawl sits cross-legged before a low ornate tray with a leaf plate, rice and bowls, eating with his hand. To his left, a bearded sadhu in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and beads holds food on a leaf plate, and a bald monk in orange sits at the far left. On the right, a woman in orange robes and head covering sits behind another ornate tray with steel tumblers. Behind them hangs a large painted portrait of a saint in orange garlanded with marigold and rose garlands, with golden drapes around it. Marigold petals lie on the white cloth. Four people are visible in total. The page indicates a person attended this event.2015-09-10September 12 20152015-09-12 +1 copiesAugust 14 20172017-08-14April 23 20162016-04-23A seated row of saffron-clad sannyasis takes a meal at long wooden tables in an open tent. In the foreground a smiling woman wears a rust-orange turban, a dark rudraksha mala around her neck, and an orange-brown garment, and she looks off to the side. Beside her a bald monk in orange robes sits attentively. Behind them, orange-clad attendants and white-clad helpers in green-and-white sashes move along the line, serving food onto steel plates. Marigold garlands lie on the tables near water bottles and small bowls, and the background is bright and blurred.2016-05-07A seated man in a red-maroon turban and rust-red robe with gold border sits at a ceremonial table, wearing a long multi-strand rudraksha mala with gold beads and gold armbands. He handles food on a silver platter, with offerings of rice or prasad on plates in front of him. Behind him, a man in white dhoti with gold borders and another in orange robes stand or sit at ritual setups, with brass lamps in the background. The ceremony appears to be a puja or annadan-style offering. Appearance-based identification is probable for a person with his distinctive turban and rudraksha mala, seated in the central role.2015-09-12September 12 20152015-09-12 +1 copiesSeptember 10 20152015-09-10 +1 copiesFebruary 16 20132013-02-16April 22 20162016-04-22A photograph of two seated men in a ritual setting, eating from metal plates of food. The man on the right wears a deep red-orange turban, a red-orange dhoti-style wrap, heavy gold necklaces of rounded beads, and gold armlets. The man on the left wears a light orange robe, a rudraksha-style mala and a gold pendant, with long swept-back hair. Both have hands near silver plates of rice and vegetables; the right man's hand is over a small book. Behind them, other people in orange and white robes sit or stand near silver ornate shrines and a decorated altar, with a pot visible at left.2015-09-12
