The scene suggests a satsang or discourse setting.2011-08-31A standing person in a rust-red dhoti with gold borders and matching red upper cloth stands at left with palms pressed together in anjali, facing a seated white statue. The statue wears a red turban, red robes, a white garland, rudraksha beads and a crescent emblem, and holds a trident beside it. Behind the statue is an ornate carved wooden throne draped with red and white flower garlands. A black lotus-shaped pedestal supports the statue. In the foreground stand a tall brass oil lamp with a lit flame, a brass plate with flowers and offerings, a small lit diya, a brass bell, a conch-shaped vessel, and silver-coloured ritual trays. Two smaller deity murtis, one in orange and one decorated with flowers and ornaments, sit on the floor before the pedestal. The figure's hands are raised near the face in a ritual gesture. Beside them stands a large brass oil lamp with a flame, and a tall bronze deity murti is draped in a red cloth and white flower garland with a red and gold garland above. Potted plants, marigold and white flower offerings, and small brass bowls sit on a red-cloth-covered altar in front. Petals drift in the air and green curtains frame the scene.2003-07-13A woman in a maroon and gold-bordered sari with a white and red flower garland stands at left in a small white-walled shrine with a corrugated roof, holding a lit oil lamp and gesturing with her hands toward an altar. A second person in orange-and-maroon ritual dress stands with palms pressed together behind her at left. At right, a white-and-maroon seated figure with a trident and a red turban sits on a black lotus pedestal, with a carved wooden throne flanked by two small lion figures in the centre. Brass lamps, a kalasha-style vessel, flower offerings, a red-and-silver tray and a small orange mat sit on a raised platform in front of the altar.
