Behind the throne is a large arch of red, orange, yellow and white flower decorations, and a golden canopy hangs above. In the foreground the priest's left hand holds a brass tray of fruit. Two people are visible, and a gold ceremonial stand and a silver standard stand near the throne.2015-07-17April 01 20162016-04-01 +1 copiesA seated man on a red velvet throne with a gilded peacock-feather backrest receives a ritual from a standing attendant. The seated man has long dark matted hair, a white tilak on his forehead, gold armbands, layered beaded necklaces with a large gold pendant, and a maroon robe. He holds his hand over a polished silver pot topped with a green leaf and small bundled sticks, possibly for an abhishekam or aarti. The attendant in a bright orange-saffron shawl and skirt wears hoop earrings, a rudraksha-style bead bracelet, and has long hair. The setting is dim and green-tinted with foliage behind.2017-06-17August 25 20172017-08-25
