In the centre, a man with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange-brown robe and a large red and yellow marigold garland with a white flower at its centre. He walks barefoot toward the right, hands at his sides. Behind him, a shaved-headed priest in saffron-orange cloth with a rudraksha mala and a bare upper body walks along the same path. On the left, a row of people in white with red-and-white shawls stand with palms pressed together in anjali, and a woman in a white sari with gold border and a brown shawl also has her hands folded. A woman in white stands at the right, hands together. Stainless steel barrier posts line the path, and a rolled mat and draped cloth sit on a low platform at right.2016-02-07A night procession on a dirt ground, with a row of people in orange and white walking along a striped woven mat. In the centre, a bearded man in a rust-brown robe wears a long white and orange flower garland and walks barefoot, appearing to be a person by his garland and saffron-toned robe, though his face and cues are not fully clear. Beside him, a man in a white dhoti with gold border and a shawl walks, and several men in orange shirts and red-orange dhotis, some with rudraksha malas, follow. On the right, drummers in orange clothing play large drums. Dark trees and a shed form the background.2017-03-19April 03 20162016-04-03October 27 20142014-10-27September 13 20132013-09-13May 29 20152015-05-29 +1 copiesFebruary 07 20162016-02-07A night-time outdoor ritual at an ashram with a large banyan tree behind. A man with a bare upper body and a red-brown dhoti with gold trim walks forward, wearing a thick ceremonial gold necklace and a long multi-coloured flower garland; he has a tilak on his forehead and gold armbands. Several men in orange robes with white forehead markings stand around; one carries a brass tray and another holds a ceremonial staff, and a long brass horn-like instrument is visible. A small ornate silver canopy stands behind them. At right, a bald young man in orange with white tilak folds his hands in greeting. A cameraman in a blue striped shirt films the scene from behind a wooden rail. Ritual offerings are visible at lower left, including red flowers and a plate.2013-07-22February 07 20162016-02-07
