August 05 20162016-08-05August 14 20162016-08-14A photograph of a dusty, reddish-brown unpaved ground with patches of dry grass and scattered stones in the foreground. A pile of grey gravel sits on the left-centre, and a few distant figures stand near a dirt track: one in a light shirt and dark trousers near the gravel, another in a dark top and light trousers beside a road, and two more walking together in white at the far right. Tall trees and a low hedge line the horizon under a partly cloudy blue sky. No ritual, discourse or a person is visible; the setting appears to be an unfinished construction or land-preparation site.2016-08-06Outdoor photo on a bare reddish-brown dirt ground at dusk. Two workers in the centre are bent over a large heap of grey crushed stone, one using a long-handled shovel to spread the gravel; a third worker in a yellow shirt is partly visible behind them. On the left stands a man in a red-and-white checked shirt and dark trousers, watching. Scattered gravel covers the ground around them. Behind is a corrugated-roof shed, trees and a red boundary wall.2016-08-06A dirt track runs along a chain-link fence beside a long, loose pile of cut grey granite blocks and rough stones heaped on reddish-brown soil. Palm trees, scrubland and a distant low hill line the open site under a pale sky. No people are visible; the scene looks like a construction or stone-stockpiling area at a building site.2009-12-15A photograph of a construction site beside a red brick boundary wall. A sloped embankment of exposed reddish-brown soil and scrub vegetation rises behind piles of grey cut stone and loose rubble laid along the foot of the slope. Bare sandy ground with sparse grass fills the foreground. Tree branches frame the top left. No people are visible.2011-07-31August 14 20162016-08-14August 08 20112011-08-08A construction site at the Bidadi Ashram under a pale, overcast sky. A white block wall runs along the left, with a bamboo ladder leaning against it beside stacked grey stone slabs and wooden planks. In the centre foreground, a large heap of crushed grey gravel sits beside a blue-banded metal drum and a loose broom. Sandy earth covers the ground, and on the right stands a billboard with a map and colourful diagrams on a white post. A few young trees and distant hills complete the scene. No people are visible. +1 copiesA construction site with a large mound of reddish-brown earth in the foreground and a row of grey crushed stone lining a concrete edge on the right. A red tractor pulling a blue tipper trailer is dumping soil in the middle distance, with a worker near it. A blue signboard stands on the left among cleared sandy ground, and an unfinished multi-storey concrete building with scaffolding rises in the background beside a blue tarpaulin and a large red water tank. A single small figure stands at the far right edge near the wall.2009-10-15October 03 20052005-10-03A construction site on a hillside with two piles of loose grey-white cut stone blocks on bare dirt ground. Behind them is a low stone retaining wall, excavated red-brown soil, and scattered rubble. A tall palm tree and dense green shrubs grow on the slope above, with a paved road at the upper right edge. A rusted corrugated metal sheet lies at the right. No people are visible.2009-10-15
