The figure wears a purple silk garment with gold border and gold-embroidered cloth, a dark maroon head covering, and a gold armlet on the raised arm. Dense garlands of red, yellow, white and green flowers hang across the body and around a large gold pot-shaped base. Strings of rudraksha-like beads and a silver chain lie at the base. A brass oil lamp with a lit flame stands at the right, with a gold ritual lamp and a pink flower offering beyond. Flower garlands in multicolour strands frame the background.2016-12-17November 21 20152015-11-21A photograph of a golden Shiva lingam set on a gold-carved peetha base and wrapped in a golden cobra hood, decorated with garlands of yellow marigolds, purple flowers and red roses. Behind it, a figure in an orange and gold-trimmed garment with a green lower cloth and a gold necklace stands with a staff, and two tall brass oil lamps flank the shrine. The setting suggests a temple-style abhishekam or puja arrangement. No people are clearly visible in the scene apart from the figure, who is partly cropped and represented as a statue or deity murti.2010-10-12December 10 20162016-12-10A decorated temple shrine with a large central deity murti adorned with multicolour flower garlands in red, yellow, white and green. The central figure wears a golden crown-like headdress with a cobra hood behind it and a purple and gold garment. Flanking figures in purple and green stand on either side, one holding a hand raised in blessing. Golden lion-shaped stands hold smaller seated figures and a small green-robed figure at right. Brass oil lamps stand on the left and right, with ornate gold-framed niches. No living people are visible in the scene; the figures are statues.2016-12-17A photograph of a gold-plated Shiva lingam set on a golden yoni pedestal, with a gold cobra hood raised above it. The lingam is draped with white and yellow flower garlands with purple and magenta accents. Behind it stands a gold-clad sculpted figure with a red cloth backdrop, and to the right are tall brass oil lamps (deepam) lit in the night setting. In the lower right corner an orange-clad figure with white garments and a rudraksha mala is partly visible at the edge of the frame, with a small brass vessel nearby. A white cloth covers a table on the left, scattered with petals. No readable event title appears within the image itself.2010-11-21A photograph of a temple sanctum showing a central deity murti of Shiva seated on a golden throne-like seat with a crescent moon on a crown, flanked by a female murti in gold and purple sari with a tall decorated crown, and standing figures on either side, one in a red turban and one in a red headcloth with a rudraksha-style necklace. The figures are decorated with densely layered garlands of marigolds and roses in red, yellow, purple and white, and an ornate golden arch frames the scene. In front lies a shivalinga adorned with garlands and a silver-trimmed base, with an oil lamp at the right edge. No living people are visible; all figures are statues.2017-12-02
