Its top is wrapped in green leaves and white cloth, and yellow and red flower garlands hang below. He gazes upward toward the palm fronds. At the lower right, a figure in orange robes holds a brass bowl. The background is blurred foliage.2010-12-20December 11 20112011-12-11 +1 copiesOutdoor ritual photo of a large copper kalasha topped with green leaves and white cloth, decorated with yellow marigold garlands and set on a copper-toned base with carved panels. A man on the right wears a red-and-gold dhoti and a sash, a white forehead mark, red and yellow beaded garlands, gold necklaces and gold bangles, and holds up a gold cloth draped over the vessel. A second man on the left, in a red-and-gold dhoti with bare upper body and tilak marks, steadies the kalasha. Palm trees and foliage fill the background.2014-11-26A photograph of an outdoor temple scene with a large ornately carved wooden or stone pedestal-shaped shrine, draped with yellow and red marigold garlands. A man in rust-red and saffron-banded cloth stands at right, bare-shouldered, with a white floral garland around his neck and his hair tied up, holding a small silver bell or lamp and reaching toward the shrine. Tall palm trees and green foliage surround the scene under an overcast sky. Partially visible people appear at the bottom left edge.2014-08-31December 11 20112011-12-11November 26 20142014-11-26 +1 copiesOutdoor ritual photo of a kalasha pot topped with mango leaves and a coconut-type bundle tied with orange and white cords, set on a copper-toned pedestal wrapped in yellow and purple-white flower garlands. A man with long dark hair wears an orange-saffron garment, a white-and-red flower garland, gold necklaces and bangles, and holds a brass tray of yellow flowers while touching the kalasha. A second man in orange cloth stands beside him, and a figure in white dhoti is partly visible at right. A grey stone deity statue stands behind, with green trees in the background; a few spectators are at the lower left. The man's identity is an appearance-based probable match.2011-12-11Outdoor photograph of a man in a saffron-orange dhoti and matching shawl, bare-chested, wearing a rudraksha mala and a garland of white and orange flowers, standing beside a reddish-brown stone pillar-shaped shrine. The shrine is hung with yellow marigold garlands and pink flowers, and carved with a small arched niche. He holds a bundle of yellow flowers in his right hand and looks down toward the shrine, apparently offering flowers in worship. Palm trees and green foliage fill the background. The man is a person in a ritual flower offering rather than an identified figure; he has long, swept-back hair, which, together with the saffron clothing and rudraksha beads, gives a probable appearance-based match in this context.2014-10-05
