Several rings of small flames surround the lamp on a striped woven mat, and a brass figure stands beside it. Blurred white-clad figures sit in the background and a hand in white cloth holds the base. The scene suggests an evening aarti ritual. Watermarked text along the right edge is excluded.2007-12-07A tiered brass lamp stand with five circular trays, each holding many lit oil lamps, rises through the dark frame. A hand reaches in from the upper right to hold or tend the top lamp, and a second hand appears at the lower right. Smoke or incense wisps rise past the flames. No people's faces are visible and no other figures are present in the frame. This appears to be an aarti-style lamp offering set against a black background.2011-09-19A tiered brass aarti lamp with many lit oil lamps and wicks burns on a woven mat, with a conical heap of white material on its top tier. Behind it on the left stand several brass handheld bells with ornate handles, and at the right edge a person in a pale yellow garment holds a lit incense stick or taper toward the lamp. A band of orange cloth and a dark floor are visible at the top. The scene suggests an aarti lighting in a temple setting.2010-10-01September 24 20132013-09-24May 21 20162016-05-21March 03 20132013-03-03March 01 20132013-03-01A multi-tiered brass lamp stand holds many lit oil lamps across several rising tiers, glowing warmly against a dim, blurred background. A hand with a gold bangle holds a brass ladle-shaped lamp, tilting it toward the stand as if lighting or offering flame. No faces are visible, and no people beyond the hand are shown. Ritual deepa aarti is visible, with flames as the central focus.2011-11-27July 30 20172017-07-30 +2 copies
