A priest in an orange-saffron garment stands at left holding a lit oil lamp over a small tray of brass vessels and offerings. Before him a golden frame holds three framed black-and-white portraits and a small deity murti in pink and blue clothing. Above, a seated figure in white and gold drapes sits on an ornate golden throne with a peetha-like seat and a small decorated canopy. A framed painting at the bottom shows a figure holding a trident, and framed photographs line the walls. The scene suggests an alankaram or aarti in progress.
