A bald man in orange saffron robes stands at left, back partly turned, holding a small lit flame or lamp toward three grey stone deity statues. The central figure is a multi-armed deity standing with a serpent at its base, flanked by two standing female figures in grey stone. Behind them is an orange-red wall, a barred window and green leaves, with a rocky mound and grass in the foreground.2011-10-06Outdoor photograph of a padukas puja at a shaded courtyard. A large black stone murti of a deity with orange and red floral garlands sits on a red-draped platform in the left foreground. Several people in white dhotis and white shirts stand in a semicircle around it, some with folded hands, while a man in orange robes stands at the right edge beside a red-and-white tent canopy. Other people in white and orange clothing stand among the trees in the background. Details: garlands in marigold orange, red cloth on the platform, white clothing on most devotees.2010-10-04
