A metal staircase climbs up beside the lingam, with several people in orange and saffron robes ascending it toward the top of the stone. Red-tiered steps and a red building form the backdrop, and the scene is mirrored in the still water. A few people in orange robes sit on the steps at right. The scene suggests a Rudra Abhishekam ritual.2013-07-29A large dark grey Shiva lingam stands on a red-and-white striped platform in water, draped with multicoloured marigold garlands in orange, yellow, green, purple and white, with a garland arch above it. A metal staircase with railings climbs to a raised platform beside the lingam, where several saffron-robed men in maroon and orange clothing stand, some carrying offerings, one in the group appearing to hold a vessel. Red stone steps with more robed figures sit to the right, and the reflection shows the garlands in the water. This appears to be an abhishekam ritual at a lingam set in a pool. A few robed figures are visible on the stairs and platform, and others are seated further back.2013-07-29Outdoor photo of a large black Shiva lingam set on a raised platform in a water pool, decorated with garlands of marigolds and multicoloured flower strands draped around its base and up the shaft. Several monks in orange and maroon robes stand on a metal staircase and platform beside the lingam. On the red-stepped amphitheatre seating at left, a few people sit near two chairs, one with a figure in orange robes. Potted plants and pink flowers line the water's edge in the foreground, with a parked white van beyond the railing.2013-11-06Outdoor photo of a large black Shiva lingam in a central pool, draped in multicoloured marigold and flower garlands in red, orange, yellow, green and white, with a white horizontal band across its upper face. Several monks in orange-saffron robes stand on a metal scaffold staircase at left, wearing red and orange garlands, some with hands folded and one holding an object aloft. Rows of orange-clad monks sit on red tiered stands behind the lingam, and a red brick building stands beyond. The lingam's base is striped red and white and reflected in still water.2013-07-29July 29 20132013-07-29July 29 20132013-07-29
