On a metal staircase and platform beside it, a man in a saffron-orange dhoti with a red-orange turban and rudraksha mala stands, while a bare-chested man in white dhoti sits nearby. Two men stand on a raised scaffold at the right, behind the lingam. The man in the centre wears a red-orange cloth, a heavy gold necklace and flower garlands and pours liquid from a white conch-shaped vessel. Beside him, a bald man in orange-red robes and a rudraksha mala raises his hands in anjali. Seated devotees in white dhotis and red-bordered shawls fill the steps below, with a stacked gold-and-silver yoni-pitha base and a flower-strewn platform. A man with long hair, a reddish-orange garment and gold armlets pours liquid from a vessel over the top of the lingam from a metal scaffold platform. Several other men in saffron-orange and red cloths stand on the platform beside him, one holding a white cloth. The scene suggests an abhishekam; the sky is pale blue with a bare concrete wall behind.2015-02-19February 27 20142014-02-27December 02 20162016-12-02
