A photograph of a procession moving under a pink canopy at an outdoor event. Men in white dhotis and shirts and women in saffron and orange saris walk among rows of people. Two tall ceremonial staffs with ornate gold-and-red pennants topped by trident-shaped finials are carried upright, and a round metal fan-like disc is held aloft. Blue plastic chairs line the left side, and red and pink draped fabric decorates the right. A man in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha-style garland walks near the centre. Many people are visible, but the faces of the crowd are small and partly obscured.

Outdoor procession under a clear pale sky. In the foreground, men in white shirts and dhotis hold silver nadaswaram horns and metal pots, and a drummer in white with an orange cloth drums on a round drum. A man in a yellow shirt plays a horn beside them. Behind, a decorated palanquin or ratha with orange canopy, garlands and colourful tassels is carried forward. On the right, attendants in white with yellow shoulder cloths hold a tall ornate umbrella with floral embroidery and a gold finial. A golden trident stands on the left among banana leaves and a chain-link fence. Several people in orange and saffron robes walk among the crowd.

A procession of young men dressed in white walks along a dirt path through green trees. Two men at the front carry large triangular yellow banners with red centres and blue-green floral borders, raised on tall poles. A man in white shirt and trousers beats a large drum, while another young man in a white shirt, with a beaded mala around his neck, leads the group holding a blue strap. Several men in white dhotis and shirts follow behind, some smiling, some clapping. The scene suggests a ceremonial walk in a forested area.

Outdoor procession on a dirt road at dusk with devotees in white and cream traditional dress. Several people carry tall poles topped with ornate red, orange and gold umbrella-shaped canopies decorated with blue, gold and cream motifs. A woman in white with an orange-bordered shawl walks in front, and a man in a black shirt and dark trousers with a pendant walks at the right edge. Men in white with ritual markings and neck beads accompany them. Strings of small blue-and-white flags stretch overhead along the route.

A festival procession moves along a sandy road with ornate embroidered parasols in red, gold and yellow with a white bird motif. At centre, a man with long dark hair wears a white and gold dhoti-style garment, a garland of red and white flowers and gold necklaces, holding his hands together. Beside him, a bearded man in saffron-orange robes wears a large gold pendant necklace. Nearby, a young man in a red embroidered kurta with an orange shawl walks barefoot, and women in green, orange and red saris follow. Men in white shirts crowd the foreground, with palm trees and yellow and orange banners behind.

A large outdoor procession moves along a dusty ground past a red and white tented pavilion. In the foreground, men in white dhotis and white shirts play long wind instruments and drums, including a large barrel drum with dark straps. A woman in a white sari with an orange border walks at the front, and a woman in white with an orange garland is at the centre. A small orange and multicoloured parasol-style canopy rises at the right. Behind them, a dense crowd of devotees in white, several with orange or saffron garlands, fills the scene, and a figure in orange and red robes stands near the middle. Hazy sunlight washes out the image.

Outdoor festival procession in bright daylight. A large decorated palanquin or float covered in red, yellow, green and white flower garlands and marigold strings hangs above the crowd, with a red cloth banner trimmed in white at right. Men in saffron-yellow and orange kurtas with green lower cloths and white turbans play large hand drums and cymbals. Several men in white dhotis and white shirts walk among them, and a man in a yellow shirt holds a drum mid-procession. Colourful striped umbrellas with fringed edges and red-and-blue emblems shade the route. Devotees crowd behind, with women in yellow and white saris at right. The scene reads as a temple or ashram chariot procession.

A procession walks along a dirt path across an open grassy field under a pale sky with scattered trees. Three women in orange saris carry decorated parasols: the two outer ones have orange canopies with red and teal embroidered panels, and the centre one has a fringed pink-and-cream canopy. Behind them a long-haired man in an orange robe with a red-orange shawl walks in the centre, and another man in orange follows beside him. Around them, many people in white clothing and some in orange walk in a line, with a few children in bright red and pink outfits among them. Trees and a rocky outcrop lie in the background.

A large crowd fills a white-canopied tent hall with many people in white and cream clothing, some in orange and red. A raised stage at the back has a yellow and gold backdrop with an ornate arch, where several figures in saffron and white stand. Decorative cylindrical banners in red, blue and orange hang along the tent poles. A camera on a tripod and lighting rigs are visible at left, and devotees in front smile and hold small items.
