Many thick, grey aerial roots and hanging prop roots descend from the branches and form a tangled, pillar-like trunk mass. The ground beneath is bare reddish-brown soil edged by low pale concrete curbs and a thin black hose or cable. No people are visible. The scene is an outdoor grove setting with a few slender trees and foliage at the edges.2010-07-14
