May 28 20162016-05-28A photograph of workers riding on the flatbed of a rust-brown truck loaded with long steel pipes. Five men sit or lean along the side rails: one in a maroon shirt on the left, one in a checked orange shirt, one in a maroon top and white cloth, one in a light blue shirt, and one in a yellow shirt with a patterned headcloth on the right. Behind them stands a bamboo scaffolding tower against a clear blue sky with a palm tree at right. No a person candidate is visible.2006-12-19October 07 20062006-10-07Outdoor relief scene in a storm-damaged area with fallen palm fronds and broken tree branches around. A man in a red-orange short-sleeved shirt and white dhoti stands on a raised blue-painted metal platform or vehicle bed, gesturing with his hands toward the crowd. Beside him a man in a light blue shirt and dark trousers stands, and a man in white shirt with a rudraksha-style mala and white trousers leans in at left. Several people in white shirts wear blue-green surgical caps; a woman in an orange sari with a green surgical cap is near the front. A bare-chested man and a woman in orange clothing are at lower right, and a saffron flag is visible on a pole at left.2012-01-06May 28 20162016-05-28A photograph taken at a vehicle doorway, looking down the metal steps of a bus. A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead smiles and descends, wearing a deep red shawl with embroidered motifs over an orange-rust dhoti with gold borders, one hand raised near his chest. Behind him, a second man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala stands in the doorway interior, with luggage on overhead racks. The man at the front has distinctive long hair and saffron-orange ceremonial clothing, consistent with the page's a person reference, though the appearance is not conclusive, so he is treated as an uncertain candidate. The second figure stands in orange robes wearing a rudraksha mala.2012-07-23Outdoor ashram scene on a dusty ground beside a low orange-walled building with a corrugated roof. A smiling person with long hair, a red-orange forehead mark and an orange saffron-coloured robe sits on a folded teal mat with a yellow patterned design, one leg bent, beside a green-painted handcart piled high with white sacks, bags, cloth bundles and boxes. Stacked jute sacks sit behind the cart. To the left, a table holds terracotta pots and a red cushion, with white garland-decorated fabric nearby. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands at right, and another person in white is partly visible at left. Green pipes lie on the ground.2006-12-19Outdoor photo on a dirt yard beside a corrugated metal sheet fence and a thatched structure, with a tree and greenery behind. A man in a white shirt and orange-and-purple dhoti stands at left holding a small paper. Next to him, a bare-chested man wears an orange turban and orange cloth around his waist. Beside him, a long-haired man in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala stands, with several other sannyasis in orange and saffron robes and white dhotis around him, some with beards and orange turbans or shawls.2007-08-09February 08 20132013-02-08A photograph of several men in saffron-orange robes handling a large rough stone on the flatbed of an old rusty truck in front of a red brick building with window grilles and wall-mounted air conditioners. The man in front has a long dark braid and a crossed-cord waist sash, and wears bead necklaces and bangles, pulling a rope tied around the stone. Beside him a younger man with a shaved head and white forehead markings wears a rudraksha mala and holds the rope. Another man in orange stands behind on the truck, and a man in a rust-coloured kurta stands at the right edge. On the left, a man in white dhoti and orange-trimmed shawl with a white-clad figure stands near the truck, and a palm-lined sky appears at the upper right.2016-08-18 +1 copiesJanuary 03 20122012-01-03An elderly man in an orange saffron robe and brown knitted cap, with an orange shawl and glasses, is stepping out of a red car's open rear door on a dry grassy plot with trees and a thatched hut behind. A younger man in a white kurta stands beside the door smiling. A person with dark hair is partially visible in the lower foreground. No a person candidate is identifiable from appearance cues in this photograph, so the role of the elderly man is described as a sannyasi.2006-11-21
