A photograph of a temple ritual in a covered pillared hall with white ornate walls. A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a gold necklace, wearing saffron-orange robes, raises a bundled dhwaja (flag) with a red and orange cloth wrapped around a white rope at the top of a bamboo-like pole. Beside him, a younger man in orange robes holds a brass tray of yellow and orange flowers. Other people sit on the floor at left and right, one shirtless, and a deity murti stands in the background. The figure with long hair matches the page's a person cue only loosely, so the identity is uncertain.2006-09-29A photograph of a long-haired man in flowing saffron-orange robes seated on a white upholstered throne-like chair in front of a dark curtain, with a red tilak on his forehead and his right hand extended palm-down. Behind him a second figure in orange stands beside gilded ornate carved panels. At the lower left a man with grey hair bends forward toward the floor near a small pile of papers, and a steel cup sits on a table at right. The seated figure has long swept-back dark hair, saffron robes and a ceremonial stance, consistent with a Swamiji (probable) in a discourse or darshan setting; the label is based on appearance only.2007-02-05September 29 20062006-09-29A photograph of a man seated on a covered porch, wearing an orange-saffron shawl over a red-and-orange garment and a heavy gold bead necklace, with white tilak and a red bindi on his forehead. His long dark hair falls past his shoulders and his hands rest together at his waist. Beside him, a person in white clothes and an orange cloth holds up a bundle of dry straw tied with a red-and-gold bordered cloth and a white braided cord, a dhwaja-style flag prepared for the ceremony. Behind them a ceiling fan, white pillars and a lit shrine with deity murtis are visible.2006-09-29February 24 20072007-02-24A photograph of a long-haired man in a saffron-orange cloth draped over one shoulder and body, with a red mark on his forehead, seated on a wooden swing-seat with brass chain supports and a red cushion. A young man in white clothes sits behind him on the right, with another seated figure partly visible in white behind. A wooden panelled door and a low wall with greenery appear in the background. The seated man is speaking and gesturing with his right arm. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a ceremonial setting on a decorated swing-seat.2006-10-22A photograph of a person seated cross-legged on a white-draped stage throne in front of a large white circular backdrop and deep red velvet curtains. The figure wears a saffron-orange sleeveless robe and matching lower wrap, with a long rudraksha mala draped over the chest. Long dark hair falls past the shoulders and a red mark is on the forehead. The person raises an orange cloth in one hand while smiling, with a microphone on a stand nearby. On the left, a white table holds pink flowers, a water bottle, and a small brass lamp. Orange and white cushions flank the seat. Appearance-based cues are consistent with a person (a person) seated as the speaker, from long swept hair, saffron robe and rudraksha mala.August 17 20072007-08-17A photograph of a long-haired man in saffron-orange robes seated on a white cushioned seat on a stage. He has a red bindi on his forehead and his right hand is raised palm-up in a gesturing motion. Behind him, a golden ornate throne-like structure and a figure in orange cloth are partly visible, with a dark blue curtain backdrop. A small steel cup, a white box and papers sit on a table to the right, and a second person's curly hair is visible at the left edge. Appearance cues of long swept hair and saffron robes on a stage match the page's a person claim, so this is a person seated in discourse-style posture. Two physical people are visible.2007-02-05February 05 20072007-02-05A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with gold trim and a black rudraksha mala down the front sits on a white-draped platform, long dark wavy hair swept back, a small red bindi on the forehead. He reaches toward a saffron cloth held by a man in orange garments on the right. Seated devotees in white and orange clothing surround the platform. A white circular backdrop and a stage stand behind, with a red Om-like calligraphic panel and a gold finial at upper right.2008-08-01September 30 20062006-09-30
