Hanging brass lamps and bells are above. Before the throne, several people sit on the floor beside silver trays of flowers and offerings; a man in a white shirt and a woman in a pink-and-gold sari with jewellery attend, and a woman in a gold-and-white sari sits in the background. A brass lamp and hanging bells stand beside the throne. Before him, a woman in a pink sari and gold jewellery sits with hands clasped near a gold tray holding silver bowls of flowers and offerings. A man in white shirt sits behind the tray, and two more women sit to the right, one in a pale sari and one in an orange sari. The seated figure appears to be a person in saffron robes with distinctive garland and ornaments, but the appearance is only partly clear, so identity is uncertain. The scene suggests a puja or ceremonial offering in a gold-decorated room with a wooden door.2013-09-16Photograph of a padapuja-style ritual in an ornate gold-and-black interior. A figure seated on a gold throne with a tiger-patterned cushion wears an orange-brown robe, a long red and white flower garland and a gold necklace; hair swept back and a rudraksha-style mala visible at the chest. Devotees sit on the floor around him, several in orange and red saris, one in white, one in white kurta with an orange shawl, and a woman with a white tilak. Silver thali trays hold flowers, oil lamps, kumkum and fruit. Brass bells hang from chains above, a peacock-feather fan rests at the right, and a golden lion-like figure is at the throne base. Four people are visible, with partial figures at the edges.2013-05-25August 02 20172017-08-02A seated man with long swept-back hair wears a red-and-orange saffron-toned wrap, a red flower garland and a gold necklace, sitting on an ornate gold throne carved with a lion-like figure and a peacock-feather fan at the right. Around him, devotees in white and red clothing kneel and sit on the floor, several holding brass plates of flowers, fruit and oil lamps, while nearby a brass bell hangs from the ceiling beside lit brass oil lamps. The setting is a dark room with a large ornate gold-brass door on the left and a wall-mounted air conditioner and a floor fan. The seated figure appears to be a person, identified by his hair, saffron wrap, gold necklace and throne, and the scene resembles a puja offering.2013-05-25September 03 20172017-09-03May 25 20132013-05-25
