A home shrine (puja altar) on a glass-topped table with no living people visible. A framed photograph in a gold frame shows a smiling man with long dark hair, orange robes and a beaded necklace, raising one hand before a banyan root backdrop; the photo is a depiction, and the page identifies it as Swamiji but appearance cues alone are not conclusive. Beside it a framed picture shows Shiva with trident, Nandi bull and Ganesha. A folded maroon cloth with a gold clasp sits in front, flanked by embroidered cushions. Smaller framed images show a seated figure in red robes. Offerings include white flowers, yellow flowers, blue flowers, a brass lamp with a white candle, a small bowl of grains, and brass Ganesha and Lakshmi-style figurines. A brass kalasha-like tall lamp stands at right.2021-05-12A home shrine photographed as a photo of a glass-topped table set with a devotional arrangement. In the centre sits a small silver-edged platform holding a framed photo-print of a smiling man in orange robes with a beaded necklace, raising one hand before a banyan tree trunk, shown as a portrait captioned by a framed label. A rust-red folded cloth with a round gold brooch rests beside it, and a folded embroidered cushion in maroon and blue sits behind. Flower garlands of white jasmine and blue butterfly-pea blossoms decorate the table, with a lit oil lamp in a brass dish, a clear glass candle, a small brass figure and a bowl of food. Behind is a larger framed print of Lord Shiva with a trident, a white bull, and elephant-headed Ganesha. Printed portraits and statues only, no physical people.2021-05-09 +1 copiesKAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 4/30/20212021-04-30 +1 copiesKAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 5/1/20212021-05-01 +1 copiesKAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 4/10/20212021-04-10 +1 copiesKAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 4/23/20212021-04-23 +1 copiesKAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 4/20/20212021-04-20 +1 copiesKAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 3/15/20212021-03-15 +1 copiesKAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 4/7/20212021-04-07 +1 copiesKAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 5/4/20212021-05-04 +1 copiesKAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 3/29/20212021-03-29 +1 copiesA home shrine photographed on a glass table set with white jasmine flowers, yellow blossoms and a lit oil lamp in a brass holder. In the centre is a silver-toned padukas stand with a small golden figure of a deity murti, flanked by a gold figure of a seated deity. A framed photograph of a smiling man with long dark hair, wearing an orange robe and a beaded necklace, raises one hand in front of a tree with aerial roots; he is shown as a depiction on the wall, not physically present. Nearby a maroon folded cloth rests beside a smaller framed image of a seated figure in red robes beneath an arch, and a pink-and-blue embroidered cushion sits against the wall. Behind them a painting shows Shiva with a trident and snake, a white bull, and a seated child deity, and a purple crystal figure sits on the left. No people are physically present.2021-04-24 +1 copies
