October 30 20112011-10-30October 30 20112011-10-30A seated man sits cross-legged on an ornate gilded throne with carved floral and bird motifs, smiling and resting his hands together in his lap. He wears a deep red turban with a fan-shaped top, a purple dhoti-style garment with a red-and-gold border, a red shawl draped over one shoulder, gold armbands and multiple beaded rudraksha malas with a gold necklace. A red tilak mark is on his forehead. Beside the throne stands a gilded pedestal holding a basket of red apples and a vase of pink flowers, with orange fabric draped behind and a garland of red and yellow flowers along the right edge. Probable Swamiji is seated on the throne, identified by the distinctive red turban, rudraksha malas and saffron-coloured ceremonial drapery.2011-10-30December 06 20112011-12-06A smiling man sits on an ornate gilded throne with carved lion figures and a red velvet cushion. He wears a red and gold turban with a peacock-feather ornament, saffron-orange upper cloth, a red-and-gold shawl draped over the shoulders, gold armbands and a long rudraksha-style mala necklace with a large gold pendant. A red bindi marks his forehead and his right index finger is raised as he speaks. Appearance cues are distinctive (turban, saffron clothing, ornate ceremonial jewellery, long hair), so this is a probable Swamiji seated in person giving a discourse.2011-10-24December 04 20112011-12-04 +1 copiesA seated man in a red turban and purple dhoti with a red-and-gold border sits cross-legged on an ornate gold throne with carved lion heads and floral panels.
