A woman in an orange sari with a red border stands on a golden-painted stone platform, pulling a red cloth bundle hung from a rope toward a tall golden pillar topped with a kalasha-like finial and green leaf garland with marigold flowers at its base. A small oil lamp burns on a ledge to the right beside an ornate golden gopuram-style tower. Palm trees and a hazy sky are behind her, and a phone rests on the platform beside the pillar.2022-12-10A woman in a rust-orange sannyasi-style sari with a gold-bordered edge stands at a gilded flagpole, her right hand pressed on a white cloth with a red-and-maroon border that wraps the pole. The pole's top is bound with a bundle of dry golden grass and green mango leaves, a ritual dwajarohanam flag-hoisting setting. Another person in orange stands partly visible at the right edge with hands folded in anjali. Palm trees and dry ground surround a dark stone base with red platform steps.2018-12-22 +1 copiesDecember 19 20212021-12-19Outdoor photo of a flagpole-raising or flag-hoisting at a newly inaugurated centre under a thatched bamboo shelter. White horizontal tripundra-style markings are painted on his arms and shoulder, and a dark red curtain hangs behind him. The scene suggests a temple ritual of garlanding a deity.2021-06-20July 02 20142014-07-02 +1 copiesDecember 30 20172017-12-30
