A seated man in an orange saffron wrap with long dark hair sits on a red cushioned throne-like platform inside a thatched bamboo hut decorated with small triangular bunting flags in red, green, blue and purple. He holds a small white cup in one hand and gestures with the other. Two people in white clothes sit on a woven striped mat in the foreground, one with a video camera on his shoulder. A small brass pot, a white plastic chair, a red mat and a book rest nearby, and a colourful glass lantern hangs from the roof.2004-04-16July 02 20042004-07-02July 02 20042004-07-02A photograph inside a round thatched hut with woven palm walls. A figure with long dark hair wearing a saffron-orange robe sits cross-legged on a red throne with red cushions, hands in a meditative mudra. Around them on woven mats sit about seven men in white shirts and white dhotis or trousers, one in a light shirt and dark trousers, one with a shaved head and an orange cloth, seated in a half circle facing the throne. A small hand drum and a microphone stand sit at the left, and a pair of decorative lamps with red offerings lies on the mat in front of the throne. Appearance cues on the seated figure (long hair, saffron robe, throne) are consistent with a probable Swamiji, so the figure is labelled as such.2004-04-16A photograph of a seated assembly in a whitewashed hall with a terracotta tiled floor and ceiling fans. Many people sit cross-legged on orange and blue mats in rows, mostly in white clothing, several wearing lanyards. A speaker in the right foreground sits in a yellow armchair, wearing an orange-saffron robe and headwrap, facing the audience with a microphone on a stand before them. Orange curtains hang at a window on the right.July 09 20102010-07-09A photograph of a discourse on a raised platform.
