Water streams down the linga from above, and the linga is garlanded with red, yellow and orange marigold strands. A metal staircase railing climbs beside it to a raised platform. Two or three men are wading and bathing in the water near the base, one in a white shirt reaching toward the platform. Tiered terraces of planted clay pots lining the pond hold smaller black lingas, and green trees and sky frame the background.2011-07-15June 03 20132013-06-03A large dark grey stone Shiva lingam with a rounded top stands on a square plinth striped in red and white, inside an open red-tiered amphitheatre. The plinth sits in a shallow pool of water that reflects the cloudy sky, and a green hose runs across the wet ground. A metal ladder leans against the tiered seating on the left, and a tree and a tower appear at the back. No people are visible.2010-10-05June 04 20132013-06-04 +1 copiesA large black stone Shivalingam with a rounded top and a garland of multicoloured flowers stands on a black pedestal in water, reflected on the surface. Behind it, a red-stepped ghat rises beside a red multistorey building. Several people in saffron-orange robes stand on a white metal staircase and platform beside the lingam, and a few more in orange and white dhotis sit or stand on the red steps to the left. The scene looks like an outdoor ritual at a water tank with an overcast sky.2013-06-03
