A bare-chested man in orange ochre cloth stands centre, holding a steel plate of food and serving it from large steel pots with ladles. Around him, young men in white kurtas with orange shawls stand in a group, and a woman in white with a red flower in her hair leans in at the right. An older man in glasses and a white dhoti stands at the lower left, and a cameraman films the scene on the right. Steel pots of yellow rice are set on a white cloth in the foreground.2008-01-17Outdoor food service at a festival meal line under an orange and yellow marigold-decorated canopy with red and pink drapes. Men in white shirts and white dhotis, some wearing rudraksha malas and lanyards, stand behind steel pots of rice and yellow food, serving with ladles onto banana-leaf or leaf plates. Women in cream and white saris with gold borders are receiving food and seated at long blue-topped wooden benches. A man in plain white clothes holds a leaf plate at the right edge. Several people are visible, and the scene shows annadan style communal serving.2007-12-30December 16 20062006-12-16December 06 20112011-12-06A photograph of a thatched-roof shelter where people are serving and eating food. Beside her, a woman in a pink sari with a green rosette and a lighter-coloured garment with a tilak mark stands near the roof. At left, a man in a white shirt and white dhoti drinks from a steel tumbler. Another woman in a white blouse and white sari with a bead necklace stands in the background among trees, and more people are partly visible at the edges.2007-02-15Outdoor food service at a tented event. Along a long table covered with a red cloth and yellow skirt, rows of large brass pots with lids sit ready. Two women serve from them: the woman in the foreground wears a bright blue sari with a silver necklace, and the woman beside her wears a teal blouse and cream sari with a red-brown beaded mala and gold bangles, both holding plates of rice and curries. At right, a man with a shaved-looking head, white dhoti-style cloth and red-brown rudraksha malas stands serving from a brass pot, with white ash marks on his forehead. Behind them, a man in a white cap and tunic stands near the colourful pillars, and bright orange and blue banners hang in the background.2017-12-15December 20 20182018-12-20March 26 20082008-03-26March 11 20172017-03-11March 26 20082008-03-26
