June 10 20112011-06-10A gleaming metallic statue stands in a gilded arched niche, its face and hands polished bright. The figure wears a yellow turban topped with a jewelled crown, a yellow dhoti, layered gold necklaces set with red and green stones, and large earrings. Its raised right hand shows a blessing gesture. Garlands of white jasmine and red flowers drape the figure, and pink and green silk shawls frame it. This is a deity murti or devotional statue, not a living person, and the niche and floral decorations suggest temple worship.2011-06-09March 05 20132013-03-05February 26 20132013-02-26Photo 11728742 +2 copiesPhoto 11726456April 28 20172017-04-28August 15 20172017-08-15A silver-finished statue of a standing male figure in an ornate gold arched shrine frame with green sparkly fabric behind it.
