The man at lower left, with short grey hair and a saffron shawl, leans forward and reaches toward a small bowl of yellow curry; a small metal cup sits nearby. The seated man in the centre wears wire-rimmed glasses, has a grey beard and a red mark on his forehead, and eats from his leaf. The man at right wears an orange turban, orange robes and a beaded rudraksha mala, and looks down at his plate of round flatbreads and white rice cakes. Idli-style cakes, dal and curry are served on the leaves, and the scene reads as a ceremonial feast or annadan meal.2003-01-01Annadhan during Allahabad Kumbhamela 20132013-01-01 +1 copiesSeptember 23 20062006-09-23Photograph of a seated meal at a long white-draped table in front of a red, yellow and pink satin backdrop with sequin-like studs.
