A photograph of a festive ceremony. A figure seated on an ornate decorated seat, wearing an orange-saffron robe, a saffron turban and a long white and multicoloured flower garland, smiles and reaches toward a woman in a white sari with gold bangles and a gold necklace who is bowing and offering a folded paper or envelope with both hands. Behind her, an older woman in a white sari and a man in a white dhoti and shirt with an orange shawl stand waiting. Carved stone lion figures flank the seat, and the base is decorated with pink and white flowers and a yellow floral backdrop.2006-11-12A photograph of a ceremonial puja at a decorated dais. A long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban sits on an ornate throne-like seat draped with white and orange flower garlands, with a gold necklace visible. A man in white dhoti and white shirt bends forward, pouring from a small bowl or vessel onto a flower-strewn platform before the seated figure. Behind them stand two other men in saffron-orange shawls and a woman in a sari, with a wall of floral decorations and a colourful banner in the background. The seated figure is an appearance-based probable Swamiji (probable), seated in a position of honour with saffron clothing, a turban and garlands; the page identifies this as the Salem ashram inauguration event.2006-11-12November 12 2006 Salem Aadheenam Inauguration2006-11-12August 11 20102010-08-11January 01 20082008-01-01Photo 117246972012-04-27 +2 copiesFebruary 07 20122012-02-07Photo 116806882012-04-27 +1 copiesA seated man in an orange saffron robe and orange head turban sits on a cushioned chair draped with a red-and-white patterned cloth. He wears a long red and yellow flower garland and a rudraksha mala, and he extends one arm outward while the other hand rests near his face. Below him on a brown woven mat stands a silver tray of yellow and white flowers. At the left, a man in white shirt and trousers bends forward toward the floor. The appearance matches the orange robe and turban cues; the person is presented in a formal honoring setting.2004-SPH-JGM-Vijaya-Yatra-To-Malaysia-And-Singapore +1 copiesJanuary 01 20082008-01-01Photo 116805872012-04-27 +1 copies
