An elderly bare-chested priest in white dhoti with a striped shawl stands at left, extending his hands toward the shrine. Beside the shrine, a man in orange-saffron robes with a gold-bordered wrap and gold garland raises his joined hands overhead in worship. Another man in saffron robes with a gold garland stands with folded hands. At far right, a figure in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a bearded man with long hair in orange clothing stand near the shrine, with more devotees in the background and a stone pillar at left.2012-06-05October 12 20162016-10-12July 17 20152015-07-17June 05 20122012-06-05October 12 20162016-10-12Four young men in saffron-orange dhotis, bare-chested and wearing rudraksha malas, stand in a row performing aarti with lit brass oil lamps held high. The man on the far right has a shaved head with white tilak markings and a rudraksha mala, and holds his lamp at shoulder height. Behind them, a golden shrine houses a pink deity murti under a golden arch on the left. Seated devotees in white fill the lower left and right foreground. A camera on a tripod records the scene near a white-covered table. Red curtains and framed photographs line the hall walls.2016-10-12July 17 20152015-07-17Indoor ritual in a temple-like hall with purple drapery and a golden throne-style seat with red cushions. Several people in saffron-orange robes sit on the floor facing the altar, many with shaved heads or long hair, some wearing rudraksha malas. A standing man on the right, with curly shoulder-length hair and saffron cloth, holds a brass bell and a lit oil lamp over a tray near brass pots of flowers and mango leaves. Golden deity statues, including a dancing figure with a flute and a standing figure, decorate the altar, and incense smoke rises. A visible kalasha-style and padapuja-style offering arrangement with yellow flowers and petals sits on the floor. The lamp and bell suggest an aarti or puja.2006-08-22Inside an ashram hall, a figure in a dark maroon-brown dhoti and wrap with a heavy gold necklace and a long rudraksha-style garland stands raising one hand beside two large wooden or painted statues. The statues are draped with white and pink flower garlands. A cameraman in white shirt and a second camera operator film the scene, with devotees in white and orange robes seated and standing in the background. Brass vessels, marigold garlands and flowers rest on a purple-draped table at the base of the statues. The room has yellow walls, a column with a carved capital, and an arched doorway.2014-06-28 +1 copiesIndoor ritual session in a temple-like hall with purple drapes and a red-cushioned golden throne backed by a gilded frame. Around the altar are gilded deity murtis, including a dancing figure and a seated deity with a trident-like emblem. A standing man with long dark hair and bare chest, wearing an orange cloth, holds a small ritual object at the altar, while a younger man in orange robes with a red-beaded garland stands beside him holding a tray of red flowers. Several shaved-headed monks and young disciples in orange robes sit cross-legged on the floor facing the altar. Brass vessels with yellow flowers, a gilded kalasha-style pot and a small golden shrine stand before them. Colourful banners hang from the ceiling. The standing man has distinctive long hair and bare-chested adornments, so he may be a person leading the ritual, but this is uncertain.2006-08-22
