In the centre, a golden hamsa (swan) vahana mounted on a wooden cart with wheels is being inspected. A bare-chested sannyasi in orange cloth with a swept-back tied topknot reaches toward the golden bird. Around him, saffron-robed monastics and men in white dhotis and shirts look on, and a man in a grey shirt with an ID lanyard stands at left. A framed portrait of a saint hangs on the left wall. Several people are visible, and the scene is a photograph of a procession vehicle preparation.2009-12-29A photograph of a temple courtyard entrance under a corrugated roof hung with colourful striped cloth streamers. A young man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, with a rudraksha mala around his neck and a vertical marking on his forehead, walks forward carrying nothing in his hands. Beside him, a younger attendant in white dhoti and a gold-bordered shawl holds a silver vessel with a green plant sprig. To the right stands a large golden deity murti with multiple arms, draped in a yellow and purple cloth. A red carpet and green mat lie on the floor, and a silver car and palm trees are visible in the background.2011-09-02
